Self-proclaimed godwoman Radhe Maa is in trouble again, this time for carrying ‘Arms’ in flight. Mumbai police have booked Radhe Maa for carrying Trishul (trident) in a flight. As per the news agency PTI, the Mumbai based holy woman was carrying her `trishul' (trident) on a flight from Aurangabad to Mumbai last year.
Airport police station here registered the case after a magistrate’s court earlier this month ordered the police to lodge an FIR under the Arms Act, a police officer said. RTI activist Asad Patel had alleged that Sukhwinder Kaur alias Radhe Maa carried trident on a flight in August 2015. He had approached the court, seeking registration of FIR. (Also read. Last year Radhe Maa also faced a dowry harassment abetment case filed by a Mumbai housewife, Nikki Gupta. The PIL in the Bombay High Court had sought a direction to the Centre and other authorities to take action Sukhvinder Kaur alias Radhe Maa for carrying a trident (trishul) in her hand while boarding a flight by an airlines from Aurangabad to Mumbai on August 9.
Last year also the suspicious godwoman made headlines all for the wrong reasons. The Mumbai police had registered a fresh FIR against Radhe Maa and more than a dozen of her family members as well as associates, based on a complaint filed by TV actress Dolly Bindra. Another compelling question here is that how the airport autharoties allowed the Radhe Maa to carry Trishul inside the flight. Does the rule exist only for common man?
