The Congress and the TMC slammed the NDA government over its demonetisation move holding it for suffering of the poor in the country.

In a press conference, Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi lashed out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying that the currency ban exercise made no impact on black money. West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee said that all the opposition parties will make a common minimum agenda programme on the move.
