Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Monday kicked off his Gujarat tour. He said the Gujarat model of development has failed in the state and the grand old party will sure win the upcoming assembly polls.
While addressing a rally in Ahmedabad, Rahul said the Congress party would give ticket in assembly polls to those party workers who have been fighting against the policies of BJP and RSS.
He targeted BJP and media, saying that small traders do not run media but it is being operated by a few friends of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said there are a few media persons who want to write against the Prime Minister but they fear of government’s dictatorial approach. Â
Rahul also slammed Centre for various GST slabs, saying that there should be limit for 18 per cent.
