Rains in parts of Delhi and NCR bring respite from scorching heat

Delhiites on Thursday woke up to a rainy morning that brought respite from scorching heat, bringing the temperatures down. Light rains and drizzling was witnessed in parts of Delhi and NCR.

On Tuesday, light rains and thunderstorm occurred in parts of the national capital bringing the mercury down by seven notches.

The weather turned pleasant with the clouds hovering above the Delhi and NCR region, cool breeze and rains. On Monday, the maximum and minimum temperatures had settled at 37.8 degrees Celsius and 25.6 degrees Celsius, respectively.
