Subramanian Swamy is at it again! The BJP Rajya Sabha member on Monday trained his guns at Arvind Kejriwwal, saying "after Raghuram Rajan", now his focus will be on exposing the Delhi Chief Minister. Swamy said this as he joined his party colleague Maheish Girri in his hunger strike outside the residence of Kejriwal in Delhi.
"All his life he (Kejriwal) has done fraud. He says he was a meritorious student in IIT but I have records of how he got his admission...which I will reveal in a press conference. Till now I was Rajan ke peechhe (was going after Raghuram Rajan) and he is now gone," Swamy said.
Maheish Girri, a BJP MP from Delhi, has been protesting against Kejriwal since Sunday as he is demanding an apology from the CM for accusing him of a role in the murder of MM Khan, an official of the civic body New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC). "Question me if needed, arrest me if required," Girri said on Monday.
In a letter, Kejriwal had said that Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung is trying to protect Girri and that the latter has links with the man arrested for Khan’s murder. Now, Swamy and Girri are demanding an apology from Kejriwal.
Kejriwal, on the other hand, tweeted this morning, "He shud be arrested n interrogated by Modi police in MM Khan murder case. Modi police shielding him."
On May 16, Khan was shot dead, a day before giving an order on the terms of the lease of The Connaught, a four-star hotel. Police have arrested Ramesh Kakkar, the hotel’s owner, alongwith six others in connection with the murder case.
