The campaigning for the Rajasthan Assembly elections will end on Wednesday ahead of polling across 199 of 200 constituencies on Friday. While the incumbent Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is eyeing yet another term, the Opposition Congress is confident of making a comeback this time around. In the last phase of campaigning, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address two rallies in Sumerpur and Dausa on Wednesday, and BJP president Amit Shah will hold a roadshow in Ajmer and address several public meetings.
On Tuesday, PM Modi and Congress president Rahul Gandhi addressed public meetings in the poll-bound state. Congress leaders Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot are scheduled to address rallies at different places on Wednesday. Congress leaders Mukul Vasnik, Harish Rawat, Selja and Raj Babbar will also campaign for the party in the state.

Campaigning in poll-bound Telangana will also end on Wednesday evening and the state will go to polls on Friday. Counting of votes will be done on December 11. Rahul Gandhi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and a number of senior BJP leaders will campaign in the state.

Rahul Gandhi will address a public meeting at Kodad where TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu will also join after campaigning for Praja Kutami candidates at Ashwaraopet and Sattupally. Yogi Adityanad will campaign in Karimnagar, Mudhol, and Bhupalpally for the BJP candidates and Shivraj Chouhan will take part in road shows at several places in the last leg of the campaigning.
