The Rajasthan High Court has asked for expenditure details from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the ‘Rajasthan Gaurav Yatra’. The court has sought details from the party in a detailed affidavit regarding the cost sheet till August 20. The bench of Chief Justice Pradeep Nandrajog and Justice GR Moolchandani passed this order while hearing Vibhuti Bhushan’s PIL.
The petitioner stated that BJP is saying that the Rajasthan CM’s Gaurav Yatra is a party event but are not disclosing the expenses.
It is a misuse of government funds, the petitioner said.

Government programmes have also been included in the party’s events. In this case, it is a misuse of the government funds, the petitioner said.
Earlier, the Rajasthan high court had asked Rajasthan BJP chief Madan Lal Saini to submit BJP’s take by August 16. However, the party’s advocate was unable to attend the hearing that day.

The Bharatiya Janata Party is being represented by advocate Ajit Kumar Sharma while Rajendra Prasad is representing the state government.
The court is scheduled to hear the case next on August 21.
