Strong heatwave conditions continued to prevail in parts of Rajasthan with mercury level rising in Bikaner at a high of 44.6 degrees Celsius, the weatherman said on Saturday.
Bikaner recorded the highest temperature in the state followed by Jaisalmer which recorded a maximum temperature of 44.5 degrees, according to the MeT department in Jaipur.
Heatwave conditions prevailed at isolated places in Jodhpur division while Churu, Kota, Jodhpur and Sriganganagar recorded a high of 43.6, 43.1, 42.9 and 42.7 degrees Celsius, respectively.
Duststorm also occurred at isolated pockets in Kota, Udaipur, Ajmer and, Jodhpur divisions. The weather conditions would remain the same during the next 24 hours, the MET department said.
