BSP founder & Dalit reformer Late Shri Kanshi Ram's personal secretary Puran Singh and nephew Balvinder Singh joined AAP with their supporters today. AAP Senior Leader and Rajya Sabha MP Shri Sanjay Singh welcomed everyone to the party at the AAP Headquarters. Shri Sanjay Singh said, "Impressed by CM Arvind Kejriwal's policies, BSP Madhya Pradesh in-charge Puran Singh decided to join Aam Aadmi Party. Late Kanshi Ram's nephew Balwinder Singh has also joined the Aam Aadmi Party; welcoming all the new members to the Aam Aadmi Party family." On the occasion, Shri Puran Singh said that only CM Arvind Kejriwal and Aam Aadmi Party are taking forward the mission of Babasaheb in the country. During this event, Aam Aadmi Party Madhya Pradesh in-charge Mukesh Goyal and Senior Leader Ashok were also present.
Bahujan Samaj Party founder Late Kanshi Ram's personal secretary and BSP Madhya Pradesh in-charge Puran Singh Ahirwar along with his supporters joined the Aam Aadmi Party today. Senior Aam Aadmi Party Leader and Rajya Sabha member Shri Sanjay Singh held a press conference at the party headquarters today and welcomed everyone to the Aam Aadmi Party. Shri Sanjay Singh said, "if Babasaheb Dr. Ambedkar gave the constitution to this country, then late Kanshi Ram worked to bring the rights given in that constitution to the ground through political power. He dedicated his whole life for the cause of Bahujan Samaj. Puran Singh Ahirwar, the personal secretary of late Kanshi Ram ji worked for Bahujan Samaj Party in many states. Presently Puran Singh was in-charge of BSP Madhya Pradesh. Today, influenced by the policies of CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal, he has joined the Aam Aadmi Party family. Those policies, which are for education-health, electricity, water, which are for the poor man and the common man of India. Policies that concern the last man in the society. Since independence, only the Delhi Government of AAP has decided to teach the constitution written by Baba Saheb in government schools. Till date no government has taken such a decision. Along with Puran Singh, Balwinder Singh, nephew of late Kanshi Ram ji has also joined the Aam Aadmi Party. I heartily welcome everyone to the Aam Aadmi Party family." After taking membership of Aam Aadmi Party, Puran Singh Ahirwar said, "I got impressed by reading the articles of Manyavar Kanshi Ram Sahab and became a part of Dalit Shoshit Samajik Movement started by him in 1980. In 1984, I contested Lok Sabha elections from Vidisha from BSP. Impressed by my work, Manyavar Sahib gave me many responsibilities. I have always used my time wisely for the benefit of society. Impressed by this, Manyavar Kanshi Ram Sahib made me his personal secretary and parliamentary secretary. The BSP started a movement in 1989, whose slogan was to implement the Mandal Commission. I took an active part in this. During this time I got a job in Railways. Worked there for about six years.
I started my job in NTPC in 1996. During this also I was associated with social work. I put forth the reasons for the dismal performance of the party in Madhya Pradesh in front of senior BSP leaders and demanded some changes in the organisation for the upcoming assembly elections, but I was not listened to. Today BSP supremo Behen Mayawati ji has given place to three members of her family in the national executive." Puran Singh further said, "both my sons are associated with the Aam Aadmi Party. I also saw that the Aam Aadmi Party is implementing our ideology in the right way. I talked to many people about these things. I have been living in Delhi since last one year. During this, I did an in-depth investigation of the Delhi Model and was very impressed by it. Today if someone in the country is taking Babasaheb's mission forward and working on it, then it is only CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal and Aam Aadmi Party. I am very impressed with the policies of CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal. I saw the model of education in Delhi and I came to know about how the children whose parents sweep the streets are getting admitted to IIT. The Aam Aadmi Party is fulfilling our mission. This is why we all have decided to join the Aam Aadmi Party and fulfill that mission. In the same spirit today I along with my entire team decided to join the Aam Aadmi Party."
