PM Modi will lay the foundation stone of much-awaited Ram Mandir today in Ayodhya. The city of Ram is decked up to witness the historic auspicious occasion of Ram Janm Bhoomi Pujan. The city of Lord Ram Ayodhya got immersed into the lighting of lakh of Diyas day before the Bhoomi Pujan ceremony. A total of 3,51,000 Diyas were lit to welcome Lord Ram in Ayodhya resembling the Diwali twilight. All temples of Ayodhya city including Ram's Paadi were decorated with the brilliant lighting.
As per the itinerary released by the Prime Minister Office (PMO), PM Modi will stay for three hours in Ayodhya. He will also visit the Hanuman Gadhi today before laying the foundation stone. PM Modi will leave for Ayodhya at 9.35 am and is expected to reach around 11.30 am at the ceremony ground. Only five distinguished guests - PM Narendra Modi,Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and trust chief Nritya Gopaldas Maharaj will be present on the dais.

PM Modi will spend around seven minutes in pooja and darshan at Hanumangarhi
PM will then visit Shree Ram Janmabhoomi and will take part in pooja and darshan of ‘Bhagwan Shree Ramlala Virajman’
PM Modi will plant a sapling of Parijat and subsequently perform bhoomi pujan with a 22.6-kg made of pure silver brick.
He will also unveil a plaque to mark the laying of foundation stone and also release commemorative postage stamp on ‘Shree Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir’
PM will depart for Lucknow at 2:20 pm.
