Ramesh Agarwal, Chairman of Dainik Bhaskar Group, passes away following cardiac arrest

Chairman of Dainik Bhaskar group, Ramesh Agarwal, passed away on Wednesday following a cardiac arrest. He was 77. He was admitted to Apollo Hospital in Ahmedabad, where he breathed his last. Agarwal is survived by three sons.

Chairman of Dainik Bhaskar group, Ramesh Agarwal, passed away on Wednesday following a cardiac arrest. He was 77. He was admitted to Apollo Hospital in Ahmedabad, where he breathed his last. Agarwal is survived by three sons.

Agarwal, who led Dainik Bhaskar group for more than four decades, was in 2012 ranked 95th in Forbes list of richest Indians. He was also honoured with the Rajeev Gandhi Life time Achievement Award in Journalism. 

Agarwal was also the Chairman of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry - Madhya Pradesh.
