The six accused, who were in judicial remand, are Ohidul Islam, Milan Kumar Sarkar, Nazrul Islam,  Mohd Selim Sheikh, Gopal Sarkar and Khaledar Rahman .

The West Bengal Crime Investigation Department (CID) probing the case has arrested six people, while one of the accused is still absconding.

The accused were charged with attempt to gangrape, dacoity, grievous hurt and attempt to murder and causing hurt by dangerous weapons.
