New Delhi:
Union law minister Ravi Shankar Prasad on Thursday hit out at Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi for the latter’s jibe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and RSS.
Prasad said they condemn Rahul Gandhi’s statements and want to remind the latter that his grandmother and former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi had stated about “committed judiciary” during emergency. He said it seemed that it was a political cry instead of a speech.
He said the people have already unseated them from power who looted the country.
The law minister said it does not match the stature of Rahul Gandhi to make such statements. He slammed Congress vice-president for taking jibe at RSS on unfurling tricolor in Kerala.
Rahul said at ‘Sanjhi Virasat Sammelan’ at Constitution Club of India,”RSS hoisted flag when they came to power before they never did salute to it.”
Rahul also took a dig at PM’ Modi’s Swachh Bharat slogan, saying it they need “Sach Bharat” first.
