Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad Yadav on Thursday said that RJD-JDU alliance in Bihar government is as strong as ever. Quashing any doubts about political rift amidst Shahabuddin-Nitish row over latter’s political right to be CM, Lalu said any doubts on the issue are only seeded by opposition BJP.
“Everybody should observe some patience, past is past, enjoy present. Mahagadbandan government was not made in hurry, it has been formed after much thought,” Lalu told News Nation.
Stressing on the equal importance of all three parties in the alliance, Lalu said, “Alliance leaders will address the media together, everyone needs to work together.”
Lalu also announced that a grievance cell will be established in the party so that matters could be stated and resolved internally.
“BJP is making most of the situation, they want us to fight, but our leaders are chosen and followed by masses. But government does not have time for this, we have many more pressing issues. ”
Lalu Prasad Yadav’s close aide Shahabuddin had recently questioned Nitish Kumar’s right as chief minister when he called him CM of circumstances, immediately after his release from Bhagalpur jail after 11 years.
