The Railway Recruitment Board's (RRB) results of the Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC) second stage examination (CBT) will be declared by the end of April 2017, a leading newspaper website reported.
“The declaration of the results of RRB NTPC second stage examination is expected to take around 3 to 4 weeks more,†the Hindustan Times website quoted a senior Indian Railways official as saying on Thursday.
Earlier, the results of results of the Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC) second stage examination (CBT) conducted by RRB were expected to be announced by March 15.
Approximately 54 lakh candidates appeared for RRB NTPC stage 1 exam that were conducted between March 3 and May 6, 2016, and out of them 2,73,780 candidates qualified for stage 2 or main examination.
18,252 recruitment are available for various posts through this examination, but for category 5, 6 and 9, typing skill test and document verification will be conducted before final recruitment. There will be aptitude test and document verification for category 7 and 8 candidates.
Qualified candidates will be recruited to several posts namely—Commercial Apprentice (CA) - 703, Traffic Apprentice (TA) - 1645, Enquiry-cum-Reservation Clerk (ECRC) - 127, Goods Guard - 7591, Senior Clerk-cum-Typist - 869, Junior Accounts Assistant-cum-Typist (JAA) - 1205, Assistant Station Master (ASM) - 5942, Traffic Assistant – 166, and Senior Time Keeper – 4.
The results of NTPC stage 2 exam 2016 will be declared by RRB on its official website and 21 official RRB zone and regional sites.

2) Click on the link ‘RRB NTPC Results 2016’;
3) Enter the details like registration number and date of birth;
4) Click on submit;
5) Your RRB NTPC Exam Results will appear on the screen;
6) Download the same and take a printout for further reference.
