“The government needs to acquire land for the construction of Ram Temple and make a law in this regard,†the RSS said in the statement.

On Monday (September 29), a Supreme Court bench of Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi and justices KM Joseph and Sanjay Kishan Kaul deferred the matter on the hearing of a batch of petitions challenging the Allahabad High Court’s 2010 verdict that had divided the much controversial disputed land on the subjected area into three parts and stated that a new bench will decide the date for hearing of pleas in January 2019.
"We have our own priorities. Whether the matter will be heard in January, February or March, the appropriate bench will decide," Gogoi said after a brief hearing.
"We will fix the date of hearing of the Ayodhya dispute case before the appropriate bench in first week of January," said the bench.
"The matter pertaining to Shri Ram Janmabhoomi is before the Supreme Court. Justice delivered timely is considered to be the best justice. Delay in justice sometimes amounts to injustice," Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had tweeted after the hearing.
Earlier, RSS Chief Spokesperson Arun Kumar had released a statement saying, “the Sangh believes that a Ram Temple should be constructed early at the birthplace of (Lord Ram) and should get land for temple construction at the birthplace. With the construction of the temple, an atmosphere of unity and harmony will be created."
"The Supreme Court should take an early decision and if there is any difficulty, the government should make a law to remove hurdles in the construction of the Ram temple to grant land at the Ram Janmabhoomi site," Kumar added.Â
A three-judge bench of the Allahabad High Court, in a 2:1 majority ruling, had on September 30, 2010, ordered that the land should be partitioned equally among three parties - the Sunni Waqf Board, the Nirmohi Akhara and Ram Lalla.
