In a major revelation, the driver of the bus where accused was conductor said that he was forced to admit that knife was part of the tool-kit by school authorities and police officers. The accused used knife to kill 7-year-old Pradyuman Thakur by slitting the ear and throat in school’s bathroom.

Speaking to Mail Today, Saurabh Raghav, the bus driver said that he was interrogated by police officers and top officials of the school and was forced to confess that knife was part of bus tool-kit.

Raghav informed that he was detained till 1:30 AM on Saturday and was terrorised by school and police officials. He said that since the knife was not part of tool-kit, he denied it.

The intention behind forcing driver to admit that knife was part of the bus tool-kit is highly questionable as it was done to create an impression that weapon was easily accessible to the accused. By doing this, it could have been established that there was nothing which was brought from outside.

Speaking to Mail Today, Raghav said, "There were principal, three teachers and some top school officials present along with the police officers on the campus. Officers in civil dress threatened to apply third degree on me if I would not admit that the knife was a part of the toolkit. "I inspected the toolkit just a day earlier and I am 100 per cent sure that the knife was not part of the toolkit."

Raghav also revealed that he was one of the first persons with whom Kumar interacted after committing the crime. He said that Kumar looked relaxed while his body was soaked in blood. He said that Kumar defended himself by saying that the boy collapsed and he helped in rescue process.
