Gurgaon district court granted bail to Ashok Kumar, the conductor accused in Pradyuman Thakur murder case, with a Rs 50,000 security bond on Tuesday.
The Gurgaon Police on September 8 had arrested Ashok on charges of murdering class II student of Ryan International School.
The court asked Ashok to cooperate with the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in the investigation and report the local police before leaving the city.
Anil Kumar, lawyer of Ashok Kumar, said, “We were given benefit of doubt. The bail was granted under Article 21 of the constitution.”
He added, “There were lot of differences between the findings of CBI and Haryana Police.”
Mutilated body of Pradyuman lying in pool of blood was found inside the toilet of Ryan International School at Bhondsi on September 8.
