A tweet posted from the fake Twitter account of Sara Tendulkar, the daughter of ‘god of cricket’ Sachin Tendulkar almost created a disaster in the political circles of Mumbai.Â
In a series of tweets, Tendulkar wrote, “I reiterate the fact that my children Arjun & Sara are not on twitter. We request @Twitter to remove all such accounts at the earliest (1/2).â€

'Sara's tweet'
The tweet read: “Everyone knows that Sharad Pawar NCP looted Maharashtra state but little known that he tried centre too (sic).â€
Sachin's clarification
As it turned out, the tweet was posted from the fake Twitter account named @SaraSachin_rt on Sunday. Without wasting any time Sachin Tendulkar urged Twitter to remove all the fake accounts that are being run in the names of his son Arjun Tendulkar and daughter Sara Tendulkar. Sachin also issued clarification through his Twitter account explaining that neither Arjun nor Sara has Twitter accounts.
'Sara's tweet'
Actually, a tweet directed at Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar surfaced on Sunday which read: “Everyone knows that Sharad Pawar NCP looted Maharashtra state but little known that he tried centre too (sic).†The tweet was posted from a Twitter account named @SaraSachin_rt on Sunday which was registered in the name of Sara.
Sachin's clarification
Sachin also issued clarification through his Twitter account explaining that neither Arjun nor Sara has Twitter accounts.
