IRS officer Sahil Seth has been nominated as the national director by his holiness AvdheshanandGirijiMaharaj Chairman of Gandhi Mandela Foundation.
The Gandhi Mandela Foundation is one of the world's most highly prestigious foundations registered under the Govt. of India trust act and is formed with a motive to promote Gandhi's and Mandela's values of Non-Violence, individual freedom, civil liberties, and human rights across the globe.
The foundation is headed by eminent personalities of the world who have dedicated their lives for social and spiritual awakening.Eminent personalities like Swami AwdeshanandGirijiMaharaj, former Chief justice KG Balakrishnan, Former supreme court Chief justice Dipak Mishra, Former supreme court Justice Gyansudha Mishra, Swami Ramdev, Swami Chidanandsaraswati, Acharya Lokesh Muni are the Board members of the Gandhi mandela Foundation Sahil Seth is a young influencer, social enthusiast and also serves as Indian Revenue Service (IRS) Joint Commissioner , in Ministry of Finance.
He quoted, “It is a very noble responsibility and I feel very grateful to be a part of such a foundation. With the true belief to help the country grow, my vision towards the foundation is to promote freedom and peace for the citizens so they can work for individual and altogether awakening and harmony.Following the path of great leaders mahatma Gandhi and Nelson Mandela, foundation seeks for a community of people who came forward and initiate a movement of peace and unity to help the society grow and create an impact at global level.
Sahil Seth has always been very active in making his contribution towards society in whatever ways possible. His NGO Prasara Foundation is one such example through which he is relentlessly working for kids in slum, poor, old age people, orphans, environment etc. His recent initiatives of PrasaraLangar on Wheels, Slum kids carnival, Taking slum kids for a movie in PVR, taking slum kids for a visit to rashtrapatibhawan are such recent initiatives through which he has been trying to contribute to society.
