New Delhi:

Pulwama Terror Attack Anniversary: India is remembering the supreme sacrifice of the CRPF soldiers who lost their lives in the dastardly terror attack that took place on February 14, 2019. From President Ram Nath Kovind to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, all top leaders paid their humble tributes to the martyrs of Pulwama. The CRPF and the Narendra Modi government differ on the reason behind the Pulwama attack. In an internal inquiry, the CRPF had said that the February 14 attack was an ‘intelligence failure’. However, on June 26, 2019, the Narendra Modi government had told Parliament that the February 14 Pulwama attack was not a failure of intelligence agencies. Replying to a question in Rajya Sabha that whether the Pulwama attack was an intelligence failure, MoS Home Affairs Kishan Reddy, in a one word answer said – ‘No’. Here’s how the top leaders are remembering the martyrs of Pulwama terror attack:

A grateful nation salutes the supreme sacrifice of our brave soldiers who lost their lives in the dastardly attack by terrorists in Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir on this day last year. We remain firm in our resolve to defeat and eliminate terrorism in all its forms & manifestations. – President Ram Nath Kovind

Tributes to the brave martyrs who lost their lives in the gruesome Pulwama attack last year. They were exceptional individuals who devoted their lives to serving and protecting our nation. India will never forget their martyrdom. – Prime Minister Narendra Modi

I pay homage to the martyrs of Pulwama attack. India will forever be grateful of our bravehearts and their families who made supreme sacrifice for the sovereignty and integrity of our motherland. – Union Home Minister Amit Shah

Remembering the fallen @crpfindia personnel who were martyred during the dastardly attack in Pulwama(J&K) on this day in 2019. India will never forget their sacrifice. Entire nation stands united against terrorism and we are committed to continue our fight against this menace. – Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh

Solemnly remembering the CRPF jawans martyred in Pulwama on this day in 2019 after a terror attack. We salute our brave jawans and extend our solidarity and condolences to their families. Jai Hind – West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee

We don’t need a memorial to remind us of our incompetence. The only thing we need to know is how 80kg of RDX got past the international borders to the 'most militarised zone on earth' & exploded in #Pulwama. Justice for #PulwamaAttack needs to be done. – CPM leader MD Salim

Till date, no inquiry has been commissioned to find out from where RDX came&how the vehicle reached the spot? Vehicle's driver was in jail. How did he come out? Probe should be conducted as people want to know truth. - Maharashtra Minister Nawab Malik
