Pulwama Terror Attack Anniversary: India is remembering the supreme sacrifice of the CRPF soldiers who lost their lives in the dastardly terror attack that took place on February 14, 2019. From President Ram Nath Kovind to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, all top leaders paid their humble tributes to the martyrs of Pulwama. The CRPF and the Narendra Modi government differ on the reason behind the Pulwama attack. In an internal inquiry, the CRPF had said that the February 14 attack was an ‘intelligence failure’. However, on June 26, 2019, the Narendra Modi government had told Parliament that the February 14 Pulwama attack was not a failure of intelligence agencies. Replying to a question in Rajya Sabha that whether the Pulwama attack was an intelligence failure, MoS Home Affairs Kishan Reddy, in a one word answer said – ‘No’. Here’s how the top leaders are remembering the martyrs of Pulwama terror attack:

We don’t need a memorial to remind us of our incompetence. The only thing we need to know is how 80kg of RDX got past the international borders to the 'most militarised zone on earth' & exploded in #Pulwama. Justice for #PulwamaAttack needs to be done. – CPM leader MD Salim
Till date, no inquiry has been commissioned to find out from where RDX came&how the vehicle reached the spot? Vehicle's driver was in jail. How did he come out? Probe should be conducted as people want to know truth. - Maharashtra Minister Nawab Malik
