New Delhi:
It could be deciding moment in the ongoing political tussle in the political arena of Tamil Nadu as both the caretaker Chief Minister O. Panneerselvam and AIADMK General Secretary VK Sasikala expecting a considerable solution after Governor C Vidyasagar Rao reached Chennai on Thursday afternoon.
Governor Rao, who was not in the state from last three days, has only increased the clouds of speculations on what steps he will take. On his flight to Chennai also he declined to comment on the issue.
Looking at the developments till now, Sasikala on Wednesday mustered her strength of the majority of MLAs in the state and claimed that she will not let the party break. While on the other hand, Panneerselvam insisted that he will probe into the death of Jayalalithaa.
The expectation is that the Governor will decide on swearing in Sasikala only after the Supreme Court's verdict in the disproportionate assets case, in which she is an accused.
