The state-run State Bank of India (SBI) was expected to announce the results of Clerk mains exam this week but it has missed the deadline. The aspirants are already edged out about the delay of the results of SBI Clerk Mains result. Over 3 lakh candidates are waiting for the declaration of SBI Clerk results (Mains exam 2016) which should have been announced on 23 July. With the deadline set by the Bank missed, the candidates are in a fix as the Bank has not even updated the reason of delay and the confirmation on result announcement. SBI Clerk Mains exam was conducted on June 25 & 26, 2016.

State Bank of India (SBI) had notified the commencement of recruitment process for filling Clerical cadre vacancies in April and accordingly the preliminary exam was held in May & June. The vacancies include 14,132 posts of Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales) and 3,008 Junior Agricultural Associates posts.
Apart from JA & JAA posts, the recruitment process also includes 216 posts in Tura (Meghalaya) & Kashmir Valley & Ladakh and 3,218 backlog vacancies for SC, ST, OBC, PWD & Ex-servicemen.
