A local district court will pronounce its verdict on Thursday in connection with Gaya road rage case in which former JD (U) leader Manorma Devi’s son Rocky Yadav was involved.

The Additional District and Sessions Judge (ADJ), Sachchidanand Singh, is scheduled to deliver the judgement.

The parents of Aditya Scahdeva, who was allegedly killed by Bihar former JD (U) leader's son Rocky Yadav during a road rage in Gaya, have hoped that they will get justice in the case.

While talking to ANI before judgment on accused Rocky Yadav, K C Sachdeva, father of Aditya Sachdeva, said that they have hope with the honourable court. Aditya’s mother also hopeful that she will get justice in the case.

On March 6, the Supreme Court had denied to vacate its order of cancelling the bail of Rocky Yadav in the case. 

In last year October, the Supreme Court had stayed the bail granted to Rocky Yadav by Patna high court who allegedly shot dead Aditya for overtaking his SUV.

Rocky, son of former Janata Dal (United) leader Manorama Devi and alleged history sheeter Bindi Yadav, is accused of shooting and killing Aditya Sachdeva, a Class XII student who was driving his Maruti car, for overtaking his SUV on May 7 near Gaya.

A day after Rocky came out of jail, Principal Additional Advocate General Lalit Kishore had said the state government would file an appeal in the Supreme Court challenging the bail granted to the accused by the High Court.
