New Delhi:
The Supreme Court issued a notice to the Centre, Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha secretariat on Wednesday seeking reply on allowances, pension being paid to former parliamentarians and their spouses.
The apex court has also asked the Centre why there shouldn’t be any guidelines for such pensions and allowances.
The court issued the notice while hearing a petition filed by Lok Prahari organisation.
