In India, the name Rahul Gandhi needs no introduction being the Vice President of country’s oldest political party Congress and the son of former PM Rajiv Gandhi.
However, a little was known about his personal life and hobbies until pro-Boxer Vijender Singh asked him a question on sports in Indian politics during a Q&A session in at 112th PHD Chamber’s annual session and awards for excellence 2017 in New Delhi..
Rahul Gandhi had revealed his passion for sports and told Vijender Singh that he does sports for an hours everyday and also holds a black belt in Aikido -- a modern Japanese martial art.
Vijender then requested Rahul Gandhi to share some videos or pictures of him doing Aikido to inspire country’s otherwise “less-active†politicians.
Now Congress party, fulfilling India’s only professional boxer’s wish, has shared some pictures of its Vice President Rahul Gandhi demonstrating his martial-art skills with Aikido trainer Sensei Paritos Kar on its twitter handle.
Take a look at “sporty†Rahul’s martial-art skills:

Vijender had also asked Rahul Gandhi, one of the most eligible bachelors among Indian politicians, about his marriage plans. Rahul, gave a litlle tricky answer to this question and said he "believe in destiny".
Now we hope, like his sporty side, Rahul would also share something on Vijender's second request soon. Â
