New Delhi:
Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Selfie With Daughter’ campaign invited more negative vibes than positive on Tuesday with Alok Nath’s ‘un-sanskaari’ tweets and Shruti Seth’s ‘Game of Trolls’ remark.
Twitterati accused both the actors of demeaning the social campaign.
On Monday, actor Alok Nath's 'sanskaari' credentials were questioned after he abused (a tweet now deleted) activist Kavita Krishnan, who criticised PM and the #SelfieWithDaughter hashtag.

Meanwhile, actress Shruti Seth also faced backlash after criticising PM for promoting selfie culture instead of reform.
She tweeted:
‘Selfiewithdaughter’ got a push on social media after PM Modi talked about declining sex ration in the country in his 9th edition of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ on June 28.
Thank you all who spoke in support. It keeps the fire burning. Good thing we girls don't scare easy. #bahadurbetiyaan
