Seven Indian Diplomats call on Kerala Governor

Seven Indian diplomats, currently officiating as High Commissioners and Ambassadors in various countries, today called on Kerala Governor Justice (Retd) P Sathasivam at Raj Bhavan.

Those who met the Governor are Pankaj Saxena, Indian Ambassador to Belarus, S K Ashok Warrier, Ambassador of India to Congo, George Raju, Ambassador to Iraq, Jasminder Kasturia, Ambassador to Korea DPR, Akhilesh Mishra, High Commissioner of India in Maldives, Srikumar Menon, Ambassador to South Sudan and T P Seetharam, Ambassador to UAE.

Their visit was as part of the ongoing annual Heads of Missions Conference.

The diplomats apprised the Governor about the situation of Indians in those countries and discussed the ways in which Kerala’s relations with them could be improved, a Raj Bhavan press release said.

The purpose of their Kerala visit was for promotion of business and tourism potential of the state and better engagement with Indian communities abroad.
