Several trains routes and operations have been affected after fifteen coaches of train no 12988 Ajmer-Saeldah express derailed near Rura-Metha, 70 kms away from Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, in the early morning on Wednesday.
According to railways PRO Amit Malviya , due to the mishap, the Kanpur-Howrah route has been temporarily closed. The trains whose timing and routes have been diverted after derailment of Saeldah-Ajmer Express are-

In the train accident, two died while atleast 28 people were injured when 15 coaches of the Ajmer-Sealdah express train derailed near Rura railway station in Kanpur dehat district. According to early reports, the accident took place due to dense fog on Wednesday morning.
The mishap took place around 6 AM near Rura railway station, 70 km from here, Northern Central Railways PRO Amit Malviya said.
