Former dissident Janata Dal-United (JD-U) leader Sharad Yadav who was expelled from the party in 2017, on Thursday raked up a political storm with his weaponry of words. Addressing an election campaign in poll-bound Rajasthan's Alwar, Yadav body shamed Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, saying that she is very tired and growing fat and, therefore, needs rest.

"Please give Vasundhara some rest, she is tired, she has grown fat, she was thinner earlier. She is Madhya Pradesh's daughter (Vasundhra ko aaram do, bahut thak gayi hain, bahut moti ho gayi hain, pehle patli thi. Humare Madhya Pradesh ki beti hai)," Yadav was quoted by ANI as saying.

The purported video clip showing the expelled leader in Rajasthan's Alwar has gone viral on social networking sites.

Polling in Rajasthan will take place on Friday, December 7, to elect members of the state Legislative Assembly. The counting of votes will be taken up on December 11 in Rajasthan and four other states - Madhya Pradesh, Mizoram, Telangana and Chhattisgarh.
