As the nation lost an immensly talented actor and movie maker Shashi Kapoor, reactions started pouring from all quarters. His passing away has shocked not only the film industry but numerous fans alike. Â
The veteran actor was suffering from a prolonged illness and took his last breath at the Kokolaben Ambani Hospital on Monday. The Deewar actor, 79, was part of more than 150 movies and received many awards for his immense contribution to Indian and international cinema.Â
President of India, Ram Nath Kovind expressed his condolence on Kapoor's demise. He on Twitter wrote, "Sorry to hear of the demise of Shashi Kapoor, well-known actor, with a repertoire of Indian and international films.
