New Delhi:
Giving a fresh turn to Sheena Bora murder case, the special CBI court framed charges against Indrani Mukerjea, her husband Peter Mukerjea and former husband Sanjeev Khanna, on Tuesday.
The special CBI court will begin its trial from February 1.
The three accused in the case have been charged with murder and criminal conspiracy. Earlier this month, Sanjeev Khanna and peter Mukerjea has argued against the charges proposed by the CBI.
The Sheena Bora murder case surfaced in 2015 stunned the nation as the mother of Sheena Bora, Indrani Mukerjea, also the main accused in the case accepted that the murder occurred on April 24, 2012.

Peter Mukerjea was never against Rahul-Sheena relationship
Mumbai police have also arrested Indrani Mukerjea's driver also for possessing a firearm and claimed that he revealed details of the murder of Indrani’s daughter Sheena Bora after his arrest. The police then booked Mukerjea along with her former husband Sanjeev Khanna as well as the driver.
Later CBI, took over the case from Khar police, arrested Indrani’s husband Peter. Rai has since turned an approver in the case.
