Shiromani Akali Dal suspends MLAs Pargat Singh and Inderbir Singh Bolaria

Sending a strong message that indiscipline will not be tolerated, Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Singh Badal today suspended MLAs Pargat Singh and Inderbir Singh Bolaria from the party.

In a statement to the media issued from the party head office here, SAD secretary and spokesman Daljit Singh Cheema said the decision was taken by the party chief in consultation with senior members all of whom advised him to deal with indiscipline with a firm hand.

He said the next course of action will be decided by the party’s core committee which will be convened shortly.
