SHOCKING! Man tied to window of moving train, stripped and beaten, for drinking water

A grab from the visual.

An archetypal of inhumanity was seen when a man was tied to the window of a moving train, stripped to his underwear and beaten mercilessly by three youths just for the sake of drinking water without taking permission in Itarsi, Madhya Pradesh. The shocking footage shows that the man has been tied to window of the train, being beaten and abused by some people. More horrific is that the man remained in the same state for distance of as much as 200 KM between Itarsi and Jabalpur station.

The incident occurred on March 25 when a youth named Sumit boarded Patna-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Superfast Express at Jabalpur at around 11 pm.

The victim, Sumit, was beaten up by three men after his father, Raghunath Kachi drank water from their bottle. The authorities and other passengers acted as mute onlookers while the brutality was taking place. The person was only rescued by some station vendors when the train arrived at the destination.

The entire event is an acute example of insensitiveness of some youth one hand, and acute apathy on the art of onlookers. The also shows the negligence of police as the complaint registered in the issue was that of general scuffle. News Nation tried to contact the SP city on the entire issue but the latter refused to talk.

The accused men are natives of Patna and were on their way to Mumbai to sit for a competitive examination, a report said. The Railway Protection Force (RPF) has filed an FIR against them and probing the case.
