Siddharth Mallya, son of liquor baron Vijay Mallya, has posted a video on his Facebook page thanking supporters for their love in the toughest times.

 Sidhharth who has been living in the US for quite a lot of time thanked everyone for sending in good messages imbued with support, love and positivity in light of the current situation the Mallyas are in.

“It isn't easy to constantly read negative stories and comments about my own father. It can be extremely hard for a person to deal with,” said Siddharth in the video.

Vijay Mallya owes over Rs. 9,000 crores to state-owned banks, despite multiple warnings, he has failed to appear before investigators at the Enforcement Directorate in connection with a probe under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).

Mallya was released on strict bail conditions by a UK court after he was arrested on Tuesday morning by Scotland Yard. He appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court in London, where he was released after providing a bail bond worth 650,000 pounds.
