Watch video: Six-year-old girl falls into 900-feet deep borewell in Alwar; NDRF called for rescue operation

A six-year-old girl Komal Meena fell into 900-feet deep borewell while playing at Bairer village in Alwar district of Rajasthan on Tuesday. She has been stuck at 170-feet in the borewell.

At the moment, the civil defence team is working towards rescuing the girl. The civil defence team is lacking in necessary resources for the rescue. Hence, National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) has also been called at the spot.

The girl had fallen in the borewell last evening. The villagers started the rescue works on their level soon after the girl fell into the borewell. They stopped rescue efforts at 1 AM in the night.

The rescue works commenced again this morning. Police officials and Administrative Officers are present at the spot. The villagers have also gathered near the spot.
