New Delhi:
Union minister and senior BJP leader Smriti Irani on Tuesday lashed out at Rahul Gandhi, saying that the latter has himself confessed that Congress became arrogant under party president Sonia Gandhi which led to party’s defeat in 2014.
She said Rahul’s party did not connect with people, and the leader chose a platform of convenience to berate his opponents.
She said Rahul is a failed politician and he would not get support anywhere in the world.
On Rahul’s dynast remark where he justified the practice, Irani said the failed dynast had chosen to speak about his failed political journeys in the United States.

"The fact is that Rahul Gandhi says that dynasts and dynasties are the very fulcrum of India in itself is an anomaly," she said.
Commenting on Rahul’s remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, she said the Congress vice-president chose to belittle the PM is not surprising, but it was expected.Â
