New Delhi:

In a rare show of generosity and humbleness, Union Minister and Amethi BJP MP Smriti Irani was seen taking a walk with a woman gram pradhan around the Parliament building on Friday. The heart winning move, which is stealing hearts of million online, comes in a bid to directly reach to the grassroots workers in the district. The woman, identified as one Parvati Ji, is the head of a Gram Panchayat, which comes in the cover of the Amethi parliamentary constituency in Uttar Pradesh.

Shortly after her visit to Parliament, the gram pradhan, speaking to a news channel, said it was very nice roaming around the building with Irani and she felt delighted. Asked where did she get this innovative idea from, Irani replied - the greatest beauty of democracy lies in the fact that it connects with the grassroots level. A picture of Irani sprinkling water to douse the blaze off also went viral on social networking sites.

In late July, the minister was hitting headlines for her kindness when she stopped the cavalcade during her visit to Amethi and took a woman to hospital in her convoy ambulance. A video showing Irani shifting the woman to the ambulance was doing rounds on social media platforms.
