Soldier martyred in cross-border firing along LoC in Poonch, J&K

An Army jawan, Sepoy Deepak Jagannath Ghadge was martyred as Pakistani soldiers indulged in indiscriminate and unprovoked firing at about 2 pm on Indian Army posts along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch sector on Thursday.

The Indian Army too responded in an appropriate and effective manner. Deepak Jagannath Ghadge was aged 27 years and belonged to Borgaon village, Satara district, Maharashtra. He is survived by his wife and two kids; a 2-year-old son and 1-year-old daughter.
