A body of a minor was recovered on Sunday from near a cricket ground at Surat in Gujarat. The body had numerous injury marks, indicating that she was heavily tortured before being killed, said Police.
More than 86 injuries was found on the minor girl’s body including her private parts, stated the forensic head of the city’s Civil hospital, as reported by a leading news agency.

After extensive investigation of the crime scene, the perpetrators were not found. Doctors mentioned that FSL tests were needed to determine whether she was raped or not before being murdered.
