External Affairs minister Sushma Swaraj has been winning hearts since the time she took over, by helping many Indians in times of trouble. She has been the most active Union Minister on Twitter and is known for helping every person who tweets her regarding his/her problem.
However, a US-based man on Saturday miffed the External Minister by asking her to help end his ‘banwas’ and get his wife, who works at Jhansi Railway, transferred to Pune where he is based.
@SushmaSwaraj Can u plz help us in ending our banwas in India? My wife is in Jhansi Rly employee and I work in Pune in IT. Been a year+.

Sushma got annoyed by this request and furiously replied that had the man or his wife been an employee of her ministry, she would have suspended them for making a transfer request on Twitter.
If you or your wife were from my Ministry and such a request for transfer was made on twitter, I would have sent a suspension order by now. https://t.co/LImngQwFh6

Earlier the same man had asked her to help get his wife’s passport cleared to which the External Minister had responded with a bit of good-natured humour.
She dropped a tweet to Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu regarding the odd request. To which Suresh Prabhu replied that he won't be able to help out with the transfer after all.
1/Thanks @SushmaSwaraj ji for bringing it to my notice. As per policy laid by me,I don't look into transfers.Railway Board empowered for same https://t.co/WSqxinGx1u
