New Delhi:
US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson met external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj on Wednesday in the national capital.
While issuing a joint press statement, Sushma Swaraj said Pakistan needs to act on safe heavens and supporters of terrorism as recent attacks in Afghanistan are proof of the same.
She said President Trump’s policy on terrorism can only thrive when Pakistan takes action on terror groups.
Swaraj said she also discussed the important contribution of Indians working in the USA on H1B visa.

Tillerson said India and US are natural allies and both nations stand shoulder to shoulder against terror.

“India is crucial to USA-Afghanistan strategy, back India as a leader in the region,†Tillerson said.
