External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Wednesday took a jibe at Bollywood actors Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan saying that even Bollywood stars with two or three children went for surrogacy.
Swaraj was speaking to media after the Union Cabinet cleared a draft Surrogacy Bill which aims to safeguard the rights of surrogate mothers and make parentage of such children legal.
"Big celebrities who not only have one but two children, a son, and a daughter, even then they went ahead with Surrogacy," reported ANI.

She also went on saying that people have made it a fashion which was started as a necessity.

Shah Rukh Khan has three children with wife Gauri— Aryan, Suhana, and AbRam. Aamir Khan has Junaid, Ira with ex-wife Rina and Azad with Kiran Rao. The actors opted for surrogacy for the birth of their youngest sons.
