Security forces have detained a man on suspicion of espionage activities near the International Border between India and Pakistan in Rajasthan's Jaisalmer district. According to reports, the man arrested has been identified as Nawab Khan, a resident of Sam area.

Indian security forces are on high-alert ever since the attack on CRPF jawans in Pulwama in which 40 personnel lost their lives. Pakistan-based proscribed terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed had claimed responsibility for the attack. Following this, the Indian Air Force (IAF) targeted Jaish’s terror camp across the Line of Control (LoC) in Balakot.
