In a bid to take his Clean India campaign to the grassroots level, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday launched the 'Swachhata Hi Seva' movement, fulfilling Mahatma Gandhi's dream of a cleaner India. The 'Swachhata Hi Seva' aims to ensure a high standard of cleanliness across the country. The development came ahead of Mahatma Gandhi's 150th birth anniversary on October 2, 2019.
Taking to Twitter PM Modi also urged netizens to be a part of this mass movement, which corroborates and complements the BJP government's Swachh Bharat Mission as well.
