New Delhi:

Tamil Nadu Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao on Saturday approved the jallikattu ordinance. The bull taming sport will be held at Alaganallur in Madurai and other parts of the state on Sunday.

Here is who said what:

O Panneerselvam, Tamil Nadu CM: This ordinance has been brought in with the support of Centre, PM continuously supported our cause. Since ordinance will last for 6mnths,in coming assembly session will formulate new law so Jallikattu takes place without hindrance. 

Salman Khurshid, Congress: This will not resolve the problem, there has to be a long term solution. This matter could still go to the SC, & we could get an adverse decision from SC,for those who're agitation against decision.

Union Min Pon Radhakrishnan: Thank PM for this; after a long gap the people of TN will be celebrating Jallikattu. Congratulate everyone.
