Former Bihar deputy chief minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav in an exclusive interview with News Nation announced that he will take over the reign of Lalu Yadav and will be his party’s CM face in the next Assembly elections in the north Indian state.
During the special interview with News Nation’s Vineeta Yadav, Tejashwi also opened up about the recent reports of family feud and rift with his elder brother Tej Pratap Yadav.
“It’s clear from his (Tej Pratap) statement that he was talking about strengthening the party. Whatever he had said, was to unite and strengthen the RJD ahead of 2019 general elections and 2020 Assembly polls in Bihar,” Tejashvi told News Nation.
He also added that Tejpratap had called him “an ear to his heart” and he was his “elder brother and guide”.
