Under Barrel Grenade Launcher (UBGL), a weapon accessory, was fitted below the barrel of a gun which fired a grenade at a trajectory causing explosion inside the camp of the 'bravo company'. Meanwhile, security forces have launched a search operation in the area to nab the attackers.
On February 14, at least 42 CRPF personnel were killed and dozens of others injured in one of the deadliest terror attacks in Pulwama district.
The CRPF cavalcade that came under attack had seventy-eight vehicles and the ill-fated bus plying on the Jammu-Srinagar highway was fifth in line. Pakistan-based banned terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed had claimed responsibility for the attack.
