New Delhi:

Two policemen were injured after terrorists on Friday hurled grenade at a police station in Sopore township area of Jammu and Kashmir's Baramulla district. However, no casualty has been reported in the incident so far.

"Jammu and Kashmir: Terrorists have lobbed a grenade at Police Station Sopore, 2 policeman injured. The area has been cordoned off," the news agency ANI reported.

Speaking to the media, police officials said the incident took place in the afternoon, adding that there was no immediate report of any loss of life or injury in the explosion. Soon after the incident, security forces have cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to nab the terrorists.
