In a press conference, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP over decision that political parties depositing old Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes in their accounts will be exempt from income tax.
Kejriwal accused BJP of having irregularities within the party. He also posed questions on BJP's land deals and asked them to furnish details of their land possessions.
Delhi CM also said that there should be an investigation on BJP's accounts in last five years.
Earlier, the government said on Friday political parties depositing old Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes in their accounts will be exempt from income tax.
Besides, farmers who are exempted from paying tax on agriculture income will need to furnish a self-declaration that their earnings are less than Rs 2.5 lakh in a year to make bank deposits without PAN.
